We spent a truly meaningful afternoon visiting the An-Kang Institution for the Intellectually Disabled.
I would like to express my deepest respect to Director Chun-Yin Yu and Ms. Chen (Sister Min). Witnessing their dedication as they care for 40 residents with physical and mental disabilities is profoundly moving. Their compassion and patience truly transcend biological ties.
Through their vibrant spirit and resourceful approach, they provide these children with the warmest possible education and daily care. While the facility may not be ornate, it is exceptionally clean and comfortable—a testament to the staff’s unwavering commitment to maintaining a dignified environment for every resident.
Caring for those with intellectual disabilities is a marathon of endurance; the work they do is incredibly demanding. I invite everyone to join us in supporting the An-Kang Institution. Our collective contributions serve as the vital momentum that keeps them moving forward. ❤️
